Danielle Doucette is an 19 year old emerging pop artist, Canadian singer-songwriter, and guitarist from Woodville, Ontario. Her music speaks to her truth in a way that presents itself through lively, uplifting pop music. Her songwriting journey started almost 10 years ago, and since then she has been captivating audiences across the Kawarthas and City of Guelph; connecting to others' vulnerability through sharing her experiences with relatable themes including young love, unrequited longing, and intense passion in a poetic, euphonious fashion.

Danielle Doucette is an 19 year old emerging pop artist, Canadian singer-songwriter, and guitarist from Woodville, Ontario. Her music speaks to her truth in a way that presents itself through lively, uplifting pop music. Her songwriting journey started almost 10 years ago, and since then she has been captivating audiences across the Kawarthas and City of Guelph; connecting to others' vulnerability through sharing her experiences with relatable themes including young love, unrequited longing, and intense passion in a poetic, euphonious fashion.
Danielle has performed her music at notable venues and events, including the Franwood Showcase, The Bullring, Antics at the FLATO Academy Theatre, Cedarhurst Golf Course, and Jack’s Place for Kids. Danielle has refined her compelling stage presence through her involvement in musical theatre as well as her previous experience in the dance forms Hip Hop and Ballet.
Her song ‘Love Attack’ has been a standout in her career, winning High Honours in the Kawartha Lakes Alliance of Singer-Songwriters 2024 contest and gaining attention for its heartfelt lyrics and energetic rhythm. In 2023 she was recognized at the Pet Rock Radio New Music Awards for her first ever release ‘Case Closed’, where she was awarded Best Pop Artist and Best Pop Single of the year.
Her most recent musical adventure was forming a band called Emerald Whale. Here she worked with fellow talented musicians Temitayo Ibitayo, Emily Knox, Jade Marmash and Molly Frolick; with Band Manager and Producer Cristian Luka Jensen Carbajal and Photographer Chidebe behind the scenes. Emerald Whale gave Danielle the room to experiment and play her originals with a full, live band; offering new sounds and ideas to enhance her musical style, all while maintaining her core identity as a passionate songwriter and pop artist.
As Danielle continues to evolve as an artist, her message to listeners remains sincere and passionate, with a goal to uplift and empower those who endure similar emotions and experiences. Danielle Doucette is in for an exciting future in the pop music scene, with plans to release her demo ‘Love Attack’ as a hit single as well as release her highly anticipated Extended Play!
